New amp that was a factory defect from Audiosource, but now has minor marks and scuffs due to handling2. We corrected the defect issues and upgraded the amp3. We lowered the low frequency cutoff to improve bass performance4. We checked all functions including the short and DC protect circuits5. We verified bias and confrimed that it was set to minimize crossover distortion so it was not visible on our scope6. The DC offset for both channels was 16 mV or less7. We checked response from 100 Hz to 10 kHz, and both channels were flat to witihin 4%8. We checked the bridging function9 After service was done, we measured power output at 1 kHz into 8 Ohms, one channel driven, and found the left channel to produce 187 W RMS at clip. The right channel power is 188 W RMS at clip.
