Here is a great Atwater Kent Model 10 Breadboard #4340 With Black Condenser Cans And Black TA Unit, Serial No. A21156. This configuration is not so common, and it was also once owned by Harold Greenwood, W6MEA, author of "A Pictorial Album Of Wireless And Radio 1905-1928" which was later revised and expanded to the well know "Vintage Radios..." by Morgan McMahon. This set is in nice condition as found a few years back. I have never attempted to "clean it up" and as you can see by the photographs, it will look just excellent with some modest effort! The receiver has the five appropriate tubes all with good filaments. The audio transformers show proper continuity. Underneath, there has been some re-soldering and a couple of short wire replacements. Both tags are present and in good condition. There is also the "famous" green ownership sticker from the Harold Greenwood Collection! The board shows the typical wear for such and item, consistent with its age and authenticity. All controls operate as they should and all hardware is present and original. If you are looking for a "historic" Black AK Model #4340 to put on your shelves, this should serve you well!
