Description: Up for sale is an attic mint Watrous High Grade Liquors, Denver, Colorado whiskey bottle. This bottle comes in 2 variants, ground top dated 1900-1905 ad non ground top dated from 1905-1910. This bottle is almost perfect, with only a small just under 1/8 inch scratch as shown in the last picture. The only way bottles look this good is if they never enter the ground, as so many bottles do and are later dug up in outhouses, trash pits, or mining test holes. Attic mint means, found in 'the attic' of a house and have never been buried in the ground. This whiskey also has the original pewter top, of which is extremely hard to find as well. Most screw top whiskey bottles are found without the pewter top and most tops are damaged or broken when found. Colorado whiskey bottles are hard to find and are usually found damaged or broken, resulting in many whiskeys pricing well over $1,000. Watrous Bar and Cafe was owned by Martin H. Watrous located at 1527 Curtis Street, Denver, Colorado from 1897 to 1915. I try to list everything for accuracy, but if you have any questions, please let me know. This bottle would make a great addition to anyone who wants an piece of wild west history, a fantastic example of a western whiskey, or loves history. I ship within the U.S.A. Thank you for your interest. V/R Diggin4thepast
