Description: ATLAS 7B METAL SHAPER FEED RATCHET GEAR COVER CASE S7-23D We decided to market these 3D printed covers again as it looks like there is interest in the 3D printed versions. We quit offering due to everyone wanting machined aluminum covers a few years ago and interest in the printed versions had diminished. This is a replacement ratchet gear cover for a 7B Atlas Metal Shaper. The design has been changed to offer a more reliable replacement cover that will not experience the same issues as the OEM design. This design has been tried and tested for years on buyers shapers without failure. We started producing these back in 2017. Well worth the extra $5 over competitor OEM replicated design as you will only have to buy one cover rather than another and another after the OEM design fails or keeps failing. These are very high quality 3D printed plastic and just like the others offered on ebay do not contain the center busing and are not threaded for the link arm. The bore has been sized to eliminate the use of the bushing but has been reamed to size for perfect fit. This replaces the Zamak produced covers that were very prone to cracking. A couple pictures show the cams in place in the cover. The shaper is not included in the sale, only the cover. We also have machined aluminum gearcases although not at the same price point as these. We can also 3D print the S7-22D gear case if there is interest in high quality 3D printed versions - redesigned of course to eliminate failures. Thanks for looking!
