The Sandhawk flew three times as a single stage rocket between 1966 and 1974. This Micro kit is designed to use the Quest™ Micro Maxx™ engines and is based on our "Minimum Diameter" T-MM body tubes. Includes 3D printed nose cone, Kevlar® shock cord, metallized polyester streamer, water-slide decal and our usual complete instructions. Due to the small parts involved, these kits are not recommended for the first-time modeler. Younger modelers should have the assistance of an adult when trying to construct these small kits. Be sure not to mix different types or brands of paint without testing.) - primer (optional), white, fluorescent red, black & clear (optional); sandpaper (medium - 220 or 280, fine - 320 or 400, & [optionally] extra fine - 500 or 600); pencil. Recommended, but not required: tweezers (or needle nose pliers); sanding block; tack cloth; decal setting solution such as Micro Set or Micro Sol.
