Description: A very finely steel-engraved map of Asia in the late 19th century. It has good detail of place names and topography. Cartographer / engraver: Engraved by J & C Walker. Provenance: 'Maps of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge', Vol I, London, Chapman and Hall, 1844 Condition: Very good condition. Light age toning (slightly darker areas at the right side of the sheet). Stain to the left margin, not affecting the printed area. Slight creasing at the right side of the sheet.
