Description: For sale is a fun plate made by KPM in the beginning of the 20th century during the Art Nouveau or Jugendstil period . The plate has a neat reticulated edge highlighted with gold and the center has a hand painted fruit scene including four purple plums and their shadows. The plate is in OK condition with a chip to the edge as shown. Would display fin if you stand it into a plate holder since that would hide the chip or would be an easy fix for a restorer! The piece is 1.25 inches tall and 7.375 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter as well as the red orb mark, the word gelbe Eierpflaume and the usual painter's, gilder's and impressed marks as shown.
