Description: For sale is an unusual pressing of Running Down The Road by Arlo Guthrie. The label is all white with blue lettering, more sparse than the standard or regular promo label, less information. The jacket is not a gatefold like the standard pressings as well, and none of the production information is listed as on the standard versions of this. Also, perhaps most importantly as a collectable, the songs are listed out of order on the labels. If you look at this jacket and the standard jacket, the labels on this one match both jackets. On the standard release, the labels are correct, the jacket is out of order. Which is the long way of saying I think this is some version of a test pressing, and the song order got changed before the official release. The vinyl is visually VG with a fair amount of surface wear, but nothing deep. There are no skips and no big pops, but there are some quiet sections and some dead wax areas where I can hear some background noise. That said, I'd also say the majority of the record plays more VG+ than VG, the majority of the songs play quite well. The labels are clean but show distress around the edges. The jacket has a seam split about an inch on the top and a crack of about an inch on the spine, along with a fair amount of shelf wear and handling as you can see in the photos. Because the condition is less than great, I'm letting this go for far less than I would otherwise with something this unusual. I can't find another like it listed anywhere, so grab this one while it lasts.
