During the mid- to late November when the Arita Autumn Ceramics Festival is held, the leaves of the giant trees turn yellow, creating a yellow carpet underfoot and making it a romantic walking path. As you walk through Tonbaibeicho, you will notice walls that give off a unique atmosphere. These walls, called Tonbaibei, are made from stones that were once used to build old kilns.
