We recommend attaching them to your trailer with either 3 M double stick Emblem tape or a silicone adhesive. These can be purchased at a Napa or Auto Body Supply shop. No paint is applied. These will stand up to weather better than the original. To apply the emblems use 3m double stick tape or a silicone adhesive. Things like registry errors in original decals need to be built back in to give them an authentic look on the finished restoration. But House paint has an ingredient in it to prevent stuff from sticking to it.
