Description: Argentine Model 1909 Rifle Bayonet measuring 20.5" OAL with a blade length of 15.75". Excellent blade with over 95% original bright finish and some light oxidation areas which may be from grease in the scabbard. The scabbard shows over 85% blued finish with some age patina, wear, scratches. Excellent working press-stud with great looking wood grips. The ricasso has the Argentine Crest on it, which is nice because most of them were removed prior to being exported. Opposite side shows WKC Solingen markings. This one has a serial no of G0467 and matches the serial no on the scabbard. A beauty. These were used on the German Mauser 1909 Bolt Action Rifles that Argentina used and had a contract for.
