This is an official model 1910 saber actually used by Sergeants to Colonels.ORIGINAL Sword is made in Germany by Weyersberg Kirschbaum Cie; "WKC and the Solingen Head Logo" marked on the ricasso under the gusset. The blade is bright in excellent unsharpened condition as it should be; with very few minimal scattered imperfections, scratches, handling marks. The bronze guard and pommel has a beautiful pleasing patina with little verdigreen and they bear the beautiful detailed Argentine Coat of arms and the Medusa. The handle is tight; it is made of black bakelite with no chips.The gussets exhibits the profile of the Liberty lady on one side and the profile of the Athena or Minerva on the other side. The scabbard fits the sword nicely as it should be; it has one ring and the 2 throat screws are present. The blue scabbard has handling marks, scratches and fine pitting spots in one side. Book pictures for reference only.Overall a beautiful WK C Solingen German made 1910 sword with the Argentine Crest, the Medusa, Liberty lady and the Athena; with a beautiful blade.
