Description: This is the nicest-condition PowerBook 100 series laptop I have ever seen, and one of the nicest vintage laptops I have ever seen period! I have not found a single scratch on the plastic anywhere. I tried to get the lighting angles right to show just how nice and shiny the plastics still are. The keyboard has only an extremely minimal amount of wear on it. The trackball is perfect and smooth as butter (I have cleaned it also). The buttons still have a nice and firm “click” to them, unlike most of the well-used ones out there. It still has the port cover and the locking tab is still present also. The screen has absolutely ZERO TUNNEL VISION! I have let this machine run for many hours and the corners never darken! Only defect on the screen is one dead pixel (see the closeup pic). This is very common on these and has likely been there since new. A few of the standoffs on in the bottom case were cracked (this affects all of these machines, regardless of use), but they have been plastic-welded back together and should be solid for years to come. The hinge mounts have been inspected and are absolutely perfect. No cracks at all and the hinges still operate very smoothly and don’t have that usual “creaking” you get on these when you adjust the screen. Laptop has 8MB of RAM and the original 120MB hard drive which works great. Running System 7.1. Battery is dead and the contacts have been taped over. The PRAM battery is also dead! So you will have to replace that if you want the control panel setting and date/time to hold. I am including an aftermarket/non-original 7.5v 2A adapter with the machine. You won’t find another 180 this nice! I’m only selling it because I have another one in “daily driver” condition that suits my needs fine. Feel free to make an offer!
