APBA FOOTBALL Board Game with 1996 NFL Season Cards

Description: APBA has been producing statistical replay games since the 1950's and is acknowledged by most to be the father of all modern replay games. The football game first came out in 1958. These games are very detailed and highly realistic yet they are flexible enough to allow you to play at the level of complexity with which you are most comfortable. There have been numerous changes to the game over the years and you should be aware that not all cards sets are 100% compatible with all editions of the game. This game includes a near complete set of player cards based on the 1996 season stats (issued in 1997). The set includes the original roster sheet. These are the original vintage cards from 1997. I have inventoried and inspected the cards and every card has been accounted for with the exception of 5 Cincinnati Bengals cards (D. Dunn (WR/OA/TC), Brumfield (G), K. Carter (OHB), Cothran (FB/OC), J. Copeland (DE)). They appear to have been handled very little and are still crisp to the touch. 5-10 cards very minor pencil marks on them. The previous owner wrote a notation on the Steelers envelope in pen. Otherwise the envelopes are in great shape with no tears, writing or stains. The game components have all been accounted for. Everything is in lightly played with condition. There are some stain spots on the play results boards and a few small smudges in the instruction booklet. The only other issue is that it appears that the game company messed up when printing the play selection cards because they are blank on the side where the plays are supposed to be. So you'll have to write those in by hand. FYI the plays should be as follows: (Short Pass, Medium Pass, Long Pass, Inside Run, Outside Run). The game box shows typical shelf wear. There is some writing on the lid and 2 corners were mended with tape.
