Description: This listing is for a Antique Pastoral watercolor on artist paper painting by Canadian artist James Bird depicting landscape with mountains and trees and sheep grazing. Signed and dated by artist lower right: "James Bird, 1929 ". Hand-drawn mat, framed under glass in an ornate gilt frame. The painting is mounted over the mat. image size 13 7/8 inches by 20 1/2 inches, frame size 24 1/4 inches by 30 1/2 inches. Not opened, interior not cleaned. The painting seems to be in excellent condition with good / bright colors with no irregularities or foxing. The mat board it is mounted on is in very good displayable condition with some overall browning ( or perhaps it was beige to start with ) and some more burn / browning towards the top edge which again is not really noticeable or disturbing. . The back should be opened, glass and interior cleaned and closed and resealed on the back. I usually post many more images on my listing than the 12 listed on eBay gallery which only will be visible to individuals on classic eBay site ( that would be when item is viewed on a computer) .
