Description: This antique Waterbury mantle clock is a stunning piece from the 1800s featuring carved walnut and an Eastlake design. The clock is made of wood, brass, and glass, and has a beautiful brown color that complements any decor. The clock was manufactured in the 1880s and has a year of production of 1880. It is a great addition to any collection of decorative collectibles and a must-have for clock enthusiasts. The clock runs smoothly and is in excellent working order. This is a large impressive parlor clock measuring 23" tall. This is what I see that is great about this clock: Original Waterbury marked keyNice original clock face.Nice original glass. Pendulum is perfect and well plated. Nice silver color scheme. Bezel, glass art and pendulumWalnut, not oak98% of the wood details are there. (Missing 3 tiny ball details at the top. Missing one of the curved detail column pieces just below the ball tier shelves. The other one is there to match to. Runs fine and chimes fine. Original screws. Most of the original back label is present. Here is what I see bad:This clock is loose. The top wiggles. The bottom wiggles. I see some splits that would glue together nicely. Again, Missing 3 tiny ball details at the top. Missing one of the curved detail column pieces just below the ball tier shelves. The other one is there to match to. chime is there with original screws but is out of the clock. This clock has a wonderful presence in a room and the walnut looks amazing with the silver combinations. I like it better than brass. It is VERY Eastlake. Once restored you will love this clock! I am shipping as is. you can tighten it all up. Does not need refinishing.
