Description: Up for consideration is this antique Red Wing 5 gallon conical neck pickle packing crock with lid and bail handle. The crock features the Red Wing and Union Stoneware from Red Wing Minnesota company seals with a scrolled blue glazed "5" on the front. The crock measures approximately 17" tall with the lid (excluding bail handle) and 11.5” in diameter and a 5” top opening. Wire bails and wood handle is good. The cover has a line on the top that was caused by the steel ball dragging over it. Not a crack at all. It has no cracks anywhere. The base has some chips that also have glaze in them and actual finger prints from the craftsman. The pictures are an accurate representation of the item. Definitely hand made stoneware.
