Description: Antique Victorian Silver Plate Butter Dish - Middle Town Plate Co. No 462. Pretty piece of Victorian quadruple silver plated butter dish. This is un polished so I have no idea of the condition of the plating. I noticed wear marks on the lid it appears from storage and is shown in the last photo. The 2nd and 3rd to the last photos show a couple of dings on the outer edge of the base. Marked on the bottom - Middle Town Plate Co - Quadruple Plate - 462 - Hard White Metal Base. Dish measures approximately 7-1/2" tall to tip of handle - 9" across the handles. There is no knife with this set. Could use a polishing or light clean up looks like a bit if old polish in cervices.
