Description: We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful Victorian burl walnut Renaissance marble top shapely sideboard that dates from the 1870s to 1880s in beautiful condition. It has most likely been cleaned up somewhere along the line, likely rubbed down with oils, and is in outstanding condition. Key features include: • Wide ogee bevel edge cookie corner shapely white and gray grain marble top • Round corner column base with oversize burl panel doors • Burl panel trim moldings and picture frame burl walnut hand-cut dovetail drawers • Hand carvings going up the outside edges of the shapely design into a wonderful oversize big carved walnut solid crest • Burl panels throughout the back, candle shelves, claw-footed support onto the white marble, and panel sides The top crest has a minor crack, but it is not very noticeable. The oversize doors on the front measure 18.5 inches wide by 24.5 inches high, with a shelf behind that is 20 inches deep.
