He may be marked on the bottom, but I can't read it. I strongly believe the bird to be from Italy. I have sold very similar items that were marked Italy. No nicks, chips, or cracks. No scratches or gouges. No stains or discoloration. No glued repairs. There is some age crazing on the bottom. The vase stands approximately 12 1/2" in height and approximately 7" in width.
