Description: Antique Sterling Silver Salver Click image to enlarge Description This beautiful tray is made from sterling silver. It is of circular form with a raised, piecrust border and it sits on 3 decorative ball feet. The centre is engraved with an armorial crest depicting an arm brandishing a sword. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1916 with the maker’s mark of William Hutton & Sons. This tray is in beautiful condition with no dents or kinks and it stands nice and level without a wobble. The only issue is a pinhead dint near the armorial crest which is barely noticeable and that, after 108 years, there will be some light surface abrasions caused through use and handling – please see the photos.
