Description: This desk has been in my family for nearly 200 years. It is simply not a piece the members of my family have interest in. It was made by my great grandparents down in Texas in the early to mid 1800's as best as family members recall. They did have a furniture making business for a good while. It then was used in a general store where they kept the ledgers for bartering and sales. All dovetail work and joints still intact. Old square nails. The spindles shown in the drawer are for a top shelf piece that has long been gone. Easy to make a new one if so inclined. It is 60 inches high, 32 inches deep and the desk slopes from 47 inches high in rear to 43 high in front. I do not deliver. Located in Liberty, Mo.
