Description: Antique alkaline glazed southern pottery pitcher. Southeastern US origin; mid-late 1800’s. Unsigned. The piece stands ~10.5” and ~6” at widest point. There is a vertical line incised into the handle terminal...this could be a “1” for capacity mark or just an incidental scratch. Overall the pitcher is in good and original condition. There is some crazing in the glaze around the spout of the pitcher with some glaze loss. There are chips & wear visible around rim and heel. Many pics included for your reference.
