Description: Antique Solid Cast Iron Sitting Dog Doorstopper Door Stop (Possibly 1800s???) I'm not sure how old this is, but I suspect it's from the 1850s. It weighs approximately 5.5 lbs. It measures 6" tall, 4" wide, and the base is 4.5" x 3.5". I suspect this is from the late 1800s. I cannot be sure of this of course. It's been repainted numerous times. It seems like there was once a maker's mark or brand name on the back but I can not read it (see last pic). The eyes are either gone or have been painted over. There are obviously a lot of paint chips. Please message me with any questions or concerns.
