Description:
A gorgeous rare silver longuard chain with silver bar stations decorated with flowers interspaced with sections of double link chain. The chain is an over the head style and has an antique bolt style pendant holder. The clasp still unscrews and tightens to hold a pendant, but care needs to be taken when opening and closing it. It measures approximately 78cms or 30.7 inches and weighs approximately 16.9 grams.
The chain is not hallmarked but was sold to me as tested sterling silver by a reputable antique dealer. It is an antique piece and as such will show signs of age such as surface scratches and abrasions. All links have been checked and I cannot see any breakages. Although this item is a nice weight, care should be taken when wearing this item to avoid breakage. Will be sent by Royal Mail special delivery.
