Description: This is a beautiful plate with a slight irridescent sheen to the finish (which made it hard to photo!). The glaze process provides a lovely sense of depth. The Sarreguemines mark appears to have been in use from 1835 to 1900. This was likely produced between 1857 and 1890. Sarreguemines was a long running (200 years!) manufacturer of all kinds of ceramics from tiles to plates like this one. It measure a little bit more than 8" across and stands about 3/4" high at the rim when laid flat. Please feel free to ask questions? I only ship within the US. Thanks!
