Description: A large and rare table centerpiece made by Royal Worcester - dated 1897 and painted / gilded by the artist Henry Charles Bright who was nicknamed ‘The Colonel’.Known as a "Crescent Though" or Posey Vase Centerpiece. While it has a shape mark this piece is likely from a set that was custom painted for the customer. Its initialed by the artist. Each "half-moon" is 11.75" long by 5" deep approx. A substantial size. In good condition for its age, some wear to the gilding and one edge chip which is clearly shown in the last 3 photographs - please see the photos for condition and note the felt pads are slowly falling off and need replacing.
