Signed R&M Rowland & Marsellus Co. - Staffordshire England. Circa @ 1900. Flow blue 10" plate with rolled edge featuring Historical Boston as the featured city. Middle picture depicts Faneuil Hall. Clockwise from the top is the Paul Revere House, Old South Church, Old State House, John Hancock House, Old North Church, and the Bunker Hill Monument. Darker version of the flow blue technique. Good preowned condition as received from estate. I see one minor loss of transfer in the top image of the Paul Revere House. When I run my finger around the edge I feel two nicks on the left side edge at 9 o'clock and 10 o'clock. Neither is easily visible. On the back of the plate at 2-3 o'clock (Old South Church) there is a crack on the bottom from the outer edge to the inner rim. The crack measures 2.5". I cannot see this crack on the front but can feel it. See last three pics for details. Still a beautiful example of flow blue Boston. You are purchasing AS IS.
