Description: An exquisite and highly detailed antique architectural painting of an 18th century Rococo Salon room in the French taste. It is done in watercolor with white gouache highlights and ink. The minutiae within each section is incredible! It likely dates to the 19th century due to it being on wove paper with some small spots of foxing from age, etc. Judging by the furniture shown, it appears to be depicting English Rococo furniture influenced by Chippendale’s designs. Overall the drawing is in very good condition for age with some light toning, a few scattered small spots of foxing, etc. It is housed in an antique giltwood frame with scattered finish wear, scattered small losses, etc. The glass was replaced at one point with an anti-glare acrylic sheet. Please all see photos for condition. A fine piece to display in your home! Approx. 23.5" x 19.25" framed Ships well packed and fully insured!!!!
