The large bowl measures 9-5/8" in diameter X 2" high. Suitable for salad, fruit or dessert; the smaller bowls measure 5-1/4" in diameter X 1" high. Circa 1885-1890; this matching RIDGWAYS POTTERIES dinnerware features a blue-on-white transferware "ROSES" pattern called "Jaqueminot". A narrow embossed scroll work design decorates the rim (see images). Along with various impressed code numbers, maker's marks read as follows: Ridgways (Bow & Quiver TM) / Jaqueminot / Stoke-on-Trent / England (see images). Remarkably, there are NO CHIPS! The larger bowl & (1) small bowl has stains & crazing (see images). The other (5) small bowls are near perfect!
