Description: Aztec / Mayan style handmade terracotta clay Inah Mexico sitting warrior art object or statue. Has an old tag that says “1890” so I think it’s a Victorian antique reproduction to look like the ancient artifact. It rattles when shaken as clay pellets were left inside internally during firing. The figure represents the culture’s body and face scarification and also the growing of ear lobes with plugs tradition. There is dust but no breaks - one chip on right facing side of hip ( see photos ). *NOTE - last photo is for research and pricing reference ONLY. This piece measures : 7.5” H x 4” W x 4” D
