Description: This rare Mt Washington compote is a stunning addition to any collection. The hand-blown clear glass and hand-painted decorative features make it a unique piece. It belongs in the Napoli line. The compote has a clear color with a beautiful chrysanthemum pattern and a gold trim on the inside that outlines the colors of the flowers painted on the underside of the bowl It measures 9.25 inches in height and 6 inches in diameter, with a foot width of 4.5 inches. The item is an original, antique piece from the Victorian era (1837-1900) and was manufactured in the United States. This pedestal dish and is made of high-quality glass that reacts with a pale blue under UV light. Care instructions recommend hand washing only.
