Description: I offer a collection of over 1200 (!!!) patents around railway illumination / lanterns / lamps and signal lamps from USA (from 1849) and Great Britain (from 1893) to 1919. All patents are complete, that means contain the full text (including inventor/owner name, city, country) and all drawings (see example). The amount of the material is more than 3000 pages!! The patents are busy mostly with railway lighting/lanterns/lamps/signal lights, locomotive headlights, signal lights/lanterns (not especially fo railways!), parts/accessories of it or relating to them. The inventors / owners come mostly from USA and Great Britain. Delivery is as pdf-file collection (*.pdf) on CD (not as printed book!). Each file contains one complete patent. You need only the wellknown free programme Acrobat Reader or a similar one to open the files. You can also print each file. If you take for example "antique style paper" you can make nice pictures for wall decoration for yourself.Also included is an Excel list (*.xls) with patent numbers, datas of issue and patent titles (sometimes shortened). The list is linked directly to the patent files so that each patent will be open easily if you click on the link. This is a very comfortable way to exploit the extensive document material. It is not really a problem if you do not have the programme Excel from Microsoft. Look for "Excel Viewer" at google and you will find freeware version of an Excel Viewer programme or use any other open office programme. So you can open and print the Excel table without problem!
