Description: Lot of four pieces of antique Chinese late Qing dynasty embroidery, to include: A roundel of a dragon among clouds that has been turned into a pillow cover. Stump work gold embroidery and Peking knots. Poor condition, the black silk ground is splitting and some of the gold embroidery has come up Single multicolored embroidered sleeve band in good condition, with very minor embroidery loss Lotus flower and fronds embroidered panel in multicolored metallic thread in poor condition with some color bleed and embroidery loss Long panel on green silk of various symbols including a scholar stone, censer, scroll, shelf with fruit, fan, vase, a game board, book, etc. this is in as-is condition because although the Peking knot embroidery is in tact, there are some holes and the gold work couching is coming up and lost. The different motifs would absolutely be useable in repairing another textile, however This is an antique item, and as with any antique item it has imperfections. I have attempted to list them all here, however, please treat this item with the care you would treat something 100+ years old. If you wish for an item that behaves like new, please buy new instead.
