Antique Primitive Butter Mold Wooden Plunger Type Rectangle Geometric Press

Description: Antique primitive wooden plunger type butter mold or press with rectangle shape geometric pattern design. I believe that this dates to the 19th century. Stands approx 6 1/4 inches tall overall and the base is approx 5 5/8 inches long and approx 2 3/4 inches wide. Condition is as photographed with wear as to be expected from age and use such as small scuffs, dings, light scratches, dirt, dust, etc etc. Has nice original surface and beautiful warm patina to the wood. I do not know what type of wood it is, I am not a woodologist.
