Description: This listing is for a fabulous heavy porcelain kitchen timer. What wonderful detail on the face of the item. The face plate is brass and silver toned metal. The face of the plate shows 15, 30, 45 and 0. The plate reads, “Turn past five then set for time.” There is surface scratching on the metal. It was covered in years of residue and cleaned up to this condition. The center knob is white plastic. The front of it reads, “Mark Time.” There is a crack in the timer’s knob. See photo. The timer is not working; however, turning the handle and returning it to the 12 o’clock position offers a purposeful loud bell chime. The bell mechanism can be seen on the back. It is stamped, “Made in U.S.A.” The item measures 6” wide by 3 3/4” tall by 2” deep. The piece is not chipped but does display that it was likely dropped at some point and cracked on one end.
