Description: A large, really sweet Art Nouveau pin, probably used to secure a sash. It will make a stunning statement on a coat or jacket lapel. The metal has a soft patina. Metal content is unmarked. It is non-magnetic, so likely either pewter or an alloy with a low silver content (it does not test as sterling). I'm guessing pewter, which was often favored by women who couldn't afford the luxury of sterling. A curved diamond shape, it features a center motif of flowers (buttercups, maybe) and swirls along the border. It's in very nice condition.
