Description: You are purchasing the: Antique Pair of French c.1840 Jacob Petit Porcelain Vases with Stands Signed The vases are in excellent condition with very little loss of gold paint. The only losses are around the top rims, and the side rims. One of the legs on the vase was broken and repaired (see the last two pictures). Jacob Petit Rococo Style, Baluster Form, Heavy Porcelain Vases on stands. Alternating Vignettes of people and flowers within cool raised border continuing to scroll handles and raised on four scroll legs. Vases are on separate conforming footed stands. The stands have wear marks where the vases have touch the stands. Both are heavy with pictures of ladies and men alternated with flowers. Almost appear to be matching bases, except for the different lady and men pictures.
