Description: Antique Northwest Coast Indigenous American woven basket. Woven grasses and cedar. Nootka or Nuu-chah-nulth origin. Tagged by original owner with early label verso. Basket dates to early 20th century and measures 2.75 inches height and 5.375 inches across. Red design motif of waterbirds / ducks along the outer circumference and the interior as well. Basket is in excellent condition except for sun fading to the exterior, helping indicate its age. Inside is pristine. Good condition throughout. Priced accordingly.
