I will be listing many pieces from his collection.Norman Price New York artist (1877-1951)Up for sale is this antique circa 1929 original ink on board illustration drawing. It is titled " The Lone Dove" from the Happy Parrot Series Part 6. It depicts a man on the mast of a ship with a sign above him that has a skull and reads "Merry Christmas". There is a man in a top hat and suit below. It reads along the bottom "Captain You can always end it you know. Just step out ward and all your troubles are over" and is signed in lower right. The board measures 22" by 13 1/4". It is in good condition with some wear to the edged of board. There is a label on the back from Liberty Art Dept with title and stamp on front paper cover and dated 1929. Please view all the photos and if you have any questions please ask.
