Bauscher)*The company was founded by brothers August and Conrad Bauscher in Weiden, Germany in 1881 and made porcelain especially for exclusive hotels and luxury boutiques Superb large porcelain vase, created in the Renaissance and Baroque style with its opulent gold decoration and beautiful hand painted elements and scenes on a cobalt blue background Rim hand painted with geometrical and floral elements in cobalt blue, gold, red and green polychrome Outstanding quality vase These Topographical vases were very fashionable in the early nineteenth century. They were very expensive and almost aways made to order from wealthy clients Decorated with hand painted scenes from the *Gendarmenmarket in Berlin with the Franzosischer Dom and the Deutscher Dom and The Konzerthaus Berlin on the opposite side. *The Gendarmenmarkt is one of the most famous squares in Berlin located in the Mitte district. The square is characterized by two identical looking churches, built between 1701 and 1708, on either side of the square.The Konzerthaus Berlin was built between 1818-1821.
