From my research the estimate yearis 1950's, maker J.S. Ford & Johnson Chair Co., Chicago, this only a guess? The rocking chair is well made and quite sturdy. The wood looks to beoak, in a medium brown color. The rocking chair was used and does have a few minor blemishes, nothing major. The chair has a small separation on the back panel, and the top edge has a crack. A few of the caps that cover the screws are missing. These flaws can all be seen in the photos. Please see photos.
