Description: An 18th century Baroque era miniature oil portrait painting on copper of a beautiful young woman adorned with flowers in her hair while wearing a pearl necklace and holding a fan, most likely Spanish in origin. The painting is housed in a stunning hand carved giltwood Florentine style frame from the 19th century. It is in good condition overall for age with some toning to varnish, craquelure, a few very small losses to paint, etc. The giltwood frame is in good condition for age with some scattered wear to frame with small losses to gilt, a few areas of repaired fractures, etc. Please see all photos for condition.
