Description: Here we have a wonderful, hand crafted MINIATURE chest of drawers. This is likely an antique apprentice piece, a scaled down model of a chest of drawers; it was created so that the apprentice could demonstrate their skills before taking on the larger piece of furniture. It's a good quality scale model, one of the best looking pieces I have personally owned with 5 fully functioning drawers. I think the wood is pine which has an applied stain, but please take a look at the photos. The handles are made of brass. This would date from the early to mid 20th century. A great piece for the collector of apprentice furniture, perfect to display on top of a chest of drawers or perfect to use or display in an old country house. I guess you could use this in a dolls house too if it's the correct scale. It measures approximately 10.75 inches tall by 12.5 inches by 6.75 inches weighing a little over 2.75kg's.
