Description: Offered is this beautiful antique majolica plate. Made by Villeroy & Boch in their Schramberg majolica factory, it is has the Circle mark with VBS, impressed Letters and the numbers 439. It features an extremely ornate rim and central blue background. The center features flowers, flower buds and colorful leaves on a highly decorative impressed light blue background, just lovely. It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks, just some light glaze ware and overall glaze crazing from age. See all photos for condition. It measures 8 inches in diameter. A wonderful addition to your collection.
