The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good. The movement is signed Labrador Reg Mark. Labrador was among the first series-produced calibres from the Brandt family who went on to form Omega. This particular movement is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good. The Omega serial number, 27155, is underneath the dial and this dates the watch back to around 1900. There is also a Swiss marking The watch measures 35,6mm diameter and 49,7 including the winding crown and the loop. The case is a 14kt gold "Guaranteed to be made of two plates of 14ct gold with plate of composition between and to wear 25 years"- stays on one plate and "to Ida from Monty July 28, 1899" on second plate and additional number 5327 L 55 only 1 little bend at the back to the case. The Crystal( I think) watch lens is in good condition. The dial is in lovely condition. The hour and minute hands are very good maybe will need a little cleaning Gold chain is not included Watch will arrive in a gift box.
