Description: Antique Johnson & Johnson Zonas Adhesive Plaster Tin with Lid. c. 1910 Size: Approximately 3/4" high and 7/8” wide. Manufactured by Johnson and Johnson, New Brunswick, New Jersey. Adhesive plaster or adhesive tape, was used to hold surgical dressings in place. This was the method used for small injuries as well before Band-Aids were invented in the 1920s. Adhesive plaster was inside at one time but is not included in this sale. The original product size was 1/2" by one yard. Tin has expected wear from age and use. See photos carefully for condition.
