Description: Offered is this beautiful antique oyster plate.It was made by Carl Tielsch company in the 1800's in Germany. Beautifully iridescent and lots of gold, it features 5 wells for oysters, 2 wells for other seafood and a center well for lemon or juice. The wells are pinkish and the oyster wells have an "oyster scar". All the wells lye on a bed of fishnet. It is in excellent antique condition with minimal wear to the paint and a small chip to the foot ring on the bottom of the plate that it sits on and is not seen from the front.
