Description: There is a lot to say about this old bowl. Its decorated on the inside and outside with pine cones, which I think probably was added later to the bowl. I think previously someone added a coat of something to protect it. You will notice in one of the pictures that I scraped some of the finish off and you can see the grains in the wood. I think it was hand turned. I didn't go any further because I wasn't sure I should. I don't know if people refinish bowls??? anyway I love the size of this bowl, its 13 1/4" across and has a thick rim. The height is again great at 3 3/4". I would be open to any thoughts on this bowl from ebayers. Notice on the bottom its signed but not sure what it means, a date? with initials. Any questions please ask and thank you for looking.
