Description: An antique Hood's Sarsaparilla Apothecaries medicine Bottle. The bottle is a light aqua blue color. It stands 9" in height by 3" wide and 1 3/4" deep. This antique bottle is a BIM Blown in a mold hinge mold bottle dating to the late 1800s. It has a number 31 embossed on a round circle on the base. The right side has Lowell Mass on an indented panel, and the left side has C.I. Hood & Co. The front has three indented panels Hood's, Sarsa and Parilla. The back side is embossed Apothecaries in the indented panel. The top of the bottle is hand tooled with a ring collar below. There are a few natural bubble in the glass, but no chips or cracks or damage. Truly a nice a antique bottle to add to any collection. This is heavy thick glass and this bottle weighs right at one pound before packing.
